Athena’s love for playing the viola comes through clearly when she talks about playing music and she brings her enthusiasm to class as Strings Director Pamela Wright attests. Reflecting on the value of regular practice, Athena shared that she could not read music when she first started learning the viola three years ago; now she is able to sight read. Just taking out her viola and playing different notes helps her relax—we are so happy to hear that! We can’t wait to hear you and your Strings group in concert again. Congratulations, Athena!
“Go at it with all of the passion you have. Even if you don’t stick with it you will have wonderful memories, and learn so much about how incredible music can be.”
Orcas MS Violist, Athena Moore
