Congratulations OIHS Class of 2026! And congratulations to the graduating strings and band seniors who have dedicated themselves to hours of musical practice and performances at countless concerts, festivals and invitationals throughout their high school career. What will your child choose? At Instrument Zoo, on Monday, June 8, students entering 4th grade at the elementary school will have a chance to try out a range of band and strings instruments and decide on the one they would like to learn to play in the public school music program in Fall 2026-27. What will your child choose? Students entering 4th grade will have the opportunity to try a range of band and strings instruments before selecting one to learn to play in the public school music program in Fall 2026-27. May 2026 Music Student of the Month – Cora Shaner Music, music, music to wrap up the school year. Thursday, 28 May, is the first of these presentations and the last District Strings concert with Mrs. Pamela Wright at the helm. See you at the Orcas Center! Come one, come all, to cheer and congratulate K-12 student musicians at these end-of-school-year performances!
