Welcome back to school music! Ask to see the music department handbook that has been handed out to your student. It is full of useful information and tips for a successful year in learning an instrument at school and at home. Be sure to check out the 2026-27 Music Calendar listing concert dates, auditions and music competitions. MORE ways to get musical with these Funhouse Commons afterschool offerings. Kids‘ Chorus returns on Thursday, September 17. Sing with friends every Thursday, from 3:30-4:30pm. Open to middle and high school students (all levels) Orcas Island Chamber Music festival Congratulations OIHS Class of 2026! And congratulations to the graduating strings and band seniors who have dedicated themselves to hours of musical practice and performances at countless concerts, festivals and invitationals throughout their high school career.
