Our Vision

The Music Advocacy Group envisions a Music Program at Orcas Island Public Schools characterized by standards of excellence that enhance the students’ intellectual development and creativity, while providing them with a lifelong means of personal expression and music appreciation. We envision a school music program that is an integral part of each student’s educational experience at all grade levels, with instrumental and choral components, that engages the public imagination and is a source of community pride.
