Max kicks off our Music Student of the Month this 2024/25 school year by sharing a wonderful insight to how music practice with classmates as the first period of his long school day (he is a school athlete, as well) helps sets a fun mood and gears his mind for the day. Congratulations, Max!
Join Max and the High School Strings and Band for the annual Costume Pops concert on October 10 at 7 P.M. in the High School gym. Student musicians will be dressed up in characters of their choice to perform a lively variety of tunes. Come for a fun evening of music!
On October 25, join the HS marching band as they lead the Homecoming parade from the school to the Eastsound village green.
The Music Student of the Month series recognizes Orcas Island Public School musicians who work hard at their musical skills and whose love of music is an inspiration to their fellow student musicians.
